Utility applications can be dense with large specifications necessitating many detailed drawings. Many of your clients may not even have an actual product yet. Gray scale 3D renderings are a useful tool to have in your box. There are times when line drawings cannot capture the organic and unique features of your client’s product. We can help you file your patent with the highest quality 3D renderings. We can even disclaim features using multiple techniques when needed. Renderings can enable you to broaden the scope of a claim by using them as an appendix. They can also help on a Friday when your client tells you they are publicly disclosing their design Monday and want you to perform miracles by filing a multi-embodiment design application… We’ve all been there! That’s when we come in and make you look good by creating the entire application as renderings, which will protect their design or can be used to buy them time to submit line drawings after the first office action.
3D CAD models are included in the price of Utility & Design drawings we create, If the model is very complex, then we will provide a quote before beginning work.
